Ordnance Ahoy: Ideas for Targeting Synchronizer

I like Targeting Synchronizer most on higher PS ships or ships with Fire Control System. The whole thing is still very susceptible to arc-dodging, and the only real way to utilize it with multiple ordnance ships is with Homing Missiles, since those ships can take a focus token, then still modify their attacks via focus token + G-chips without actually spending the target lock, but at least there's potential for fun combinations.

The real money of course is in epic games, where anything with Ordnance Tubes can now piggy back off of the Target Locks of small ships, which has some real potential for hilarity.

What potential uses for this upgrade do you all see?

You've got a pretty potent PS 7 alpha strike. Round 1 Gammas take locks, TIEs do whatever. Round 2 you close to combat range, Backdraft locks, Gammas focus, Black blocks & keeps the heavy hitters alive. Gamma 1 fires torps using Backdraft's lock and uses its own lock to mod (if neccessary). Backdraft then shoots, getting another lock via FCS, which the remaining Gamma then uses to fire its own torps. Round 2 the bombers K-turn and Backdraft takes a lock, they do it all again (ableit without full mods on the second set of torps).

And you free up all the nasty options like crackshot, boba crew, glitterstims, vi to boost them into mid ps, spare points to grab protons etc etc

Epsilon Ace plus Targetting Synchroniser, or Backfraft plus Targetting Synchronisers plus FCS, for my money.
