NPC's and maneuvers

By limelight, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Been thinking about this...

I don't love that NPC's take wounds for more than 1 maneuver each turn. I realize this will slow the game down a bit but I think that I'm going to allow for fatigue and stress for NPC's as well...at least until they take more than their Toughness and Willpower. This shouldn't slow things down too much but it's one rule in v3 I find silly.

Anyone done anything similar? Anyone have any new ideas for something like this??

I thought it was silly too. then I started doing it and liked it. Not only is it less to track, but it becomes a tough and good decision for the GM on what he should and should not be doing with his monsters. Made me make some real tough decisions that I enjoyed.

I've decided that in addition to taking wounds for manoeuvers a monsters can also use the aggression points (A/C/E) on 1:1 basis for manoeuvers.

I gave my monsters an additional amount of points equal to the aggression pool that GM can spend for free maneuvers.

I handle NPCs and Monster like PC. I made a Help-Sheet to keep track. I also don't like the henchmen rule and don't use it.

This makes combat a lot more gritty, but this is Warhammer! gui%C3%B1o.gif
