The meta is regen, bomb K-wings, R3-A2 and TLT all to counter the hordes of X7 defenders. Rebels are polling at 90% to win worlds. oh well

Once again.

Rebel Regen. TLT. Dengaroo. Defenders. Some Ghosts. A bit of Norra. A couple of swarms. But the ships supposedly suppressed by the U-Boats aren't coming back; B-Wings, X-Wings, and the like are still pretty **** near useless -- they get munched by Dengar, they get munched by aces, they get munched by tractor beams, they get munched swarms . . . the Deadeye nerf doesn't fix the fact that some ships are just outclassed these days.

I think it might be a little too early to call the meta yet, there will be other alpha strike lists turning up, palp + stuff is still strong, but i think there may be some lists and ships that may see more play soon, the lancer, tie bombers, scum aces with fang fighters, scum control even using scyks and HWKs even may catch a few people by surprise.

Until we see what lists people run at worlds we are generally going off local meta, which while we can composite most of the best lists from that it is still not 100% accurate due to variation in metas for area

B-wings, X-wings and the like are trick-free jousters. We now have a jouster that's easily their equal in the Defender, and they come in lists that can have any number of trickery alongside them.

Scyks stand a small chance of sneaking in at the edges, provided there's a main craft that wants such an escort. I'm curious to see; they're now at roughly the efficiency of a Z-95, but at 3 dice. We've not had a ship of such efficiency... until the Defender showed up.
