What Does A Xeno Look Like?

By DM Variyn, in Rogue Trader Gamemasters

This Topic Page is for any xenos anyone made. So if you have some cool ideas for scourge of the Kronus Expanse or just your neighborhood friendly alien post them here.

On a more personal level I've been looking to use the Foundling Worlds and I came across the "Epoch Koronus" also known as the Koronus Expanse Timeline. On page 10 in 789.M41 they speak of the Stryxis in the God-Emperor's Scourge. Well, anyone that has read through it or has not. Take a minute to look over it and think about what first comes to mind. (Spoiler: Space Dwarves or lately known as Squats.) If you have used another xeno for these people then feel free to tell me what you used or what came to your mind.

Also I was looking through the main Rogue Trader book and a few of the pre-made adventures, mainly the one that comes with the GM's Screen. The xeno that has been running through my head that I cant set a face on is the mysterious Yu'Vath. If you look at the main Rogue Trader book on page 359 they have a confusing short (When I say short I mean really short. Most of the description at the start is just a writer splashing out words.) description of what this race was or is. PLEASE someone through me a bone and tell me what you got on these chaos xenos so when I brain **** the psycher in the party with Yu'Vath technology I know what to have hiding in the dark. Lol.

Well about the Yu'vath, i have 2 idears you might use. they are both from the movie Pan's Labyrinth, that i can ensure is a good movie.

Well the first one is a maby abit more mystical, and manipulateting creture that maby also seem abit more inteligent, but maby they aretn evil enough i have a link down under so you can see it.

But if you want something, really freaky, and evil, there is another Creature from the movie i like to introduce. The pale man is really scary and Disturbing, but maby not seem so inteligent, but still if you want the more freaky warp mutant thing i will go wtih this, there is a video link down under if you more intrested. the video takes 5min.

hope you can use it ;D

As far as I'm aware, there is no official description of the physical appearance of the Yu'vath. The species itself is one shrouded in mystery, referred to only in old legends and ancient, tainted ruins.

Of course, being a species who make extensive use of sorcery and the energies of the Warp for malign purposes, there's no reason why their forms are fixed, or even subject to the same limitations as those of humans and other mortals...

At least as a guise, a façade behind which their true horror lurks, is something all too human, drawing from the thoughts and dreams of those whose minds are invaded by their technology. Saintly images that seem just slightly off but only if you look carefully enough to see the cracks and the writhing corruption beneath the surface, or the howling abyss reflected in dead eyes...
