Blue Ace w/R2D6, pattern analyzer, daredevil, Experimental Interface.
Very fun.

I don't follow, sure you can turn 225 degrees, by green bank plus boost plus daredevil, but then you are stressed (2 stress, -1 for the delayed green). So you are stressed next turn and can't use Pattern Analyzer (well you can it just does you no good). So you green to remove the stress and you can double stress to pull off 2 actions again or single stress for 1 action and still be locked out of Pattern Analyzer next turn.
Are you sure you are playing right? You might to look at what the Check Pilot Stress step does. Am I missing something?
This combo works a lot better on Nein Numb than Blue Ace.
Nevermind. I misread how that card goes off then. My bad.
May as well just take daredevil and use it with a Tallon Roll for lols.
Try Primed Thrusters instead? Still can't do it every single turn though...
I think Blue Ace + BB8 + IA is probably better still. - that ship can usually just use the ability to make a stressless tallon roll. The real trick is finding a way to give blue ace a mod, with his boost ability. R7-Tl is the only thing that comes close, but R7-T1 is just too constrained to use much.
Why all the hate for Blue Ace? This isn't the first thread I've seen like this. I've iften used them with R2D6 and VI as a perfectly adequate list filler.
He'd be a potentially great candidate for the new pilot that lets you perform an action at the beginning of the combat phase. I'm leaning towards targeting astromech or R2 astromech, pattern analyzer, and autothrusters on blue ace which has pretty much become my go to t 70 load out. Still such a dang shame blue ace doesn't have an EPT slot.

Because with a pilot slot it'd be a fun, though inferior, version of countess. Without the ability to push off of a green hard, not so much.

Like most X-wing pilots, I hate to give up IA but B.Ace+BB-8 just sings out for Primed Thrusters. Tough decision for me as I like to fly her from time to time.

Though, there's almost no reason for Blue Ace to ever be stressed - consider your positioning from doing a talon roll followed by a primed thruster boost - it's very close to the positions he can get from bb8 straight + boost 90, or bb8 bank + boost bank. Granted, Talon + boost gets you into a tighter position than you can do without primed thrusters - it's questionable. Primed thrusters doesn't lock you out of IA though - since primed thrusters is tech slot - so for the 1 point - that seems like a good buy for options, but most of the time isn't going to be extremely needed.
Duh! Another newb mistake on my part.

Primed Thrusters still isn't a bad add with BB-8! Just probably not on Blace.
Flying alongside Ahsoka Tano helps as it allows the boost to be done right before combat. Recon Tano can then keep 1 focus for the battle.
Sorry to steal the show, but Snap Wexley with BB-8, VI, Primed Thrusters and Black One is just better. With IA over AT he clocks in at quite affordable (for a Rebel, that is) price tag of 33 and PS8 is very nice for current meta. There's quite a bit of free repositioning he can do, even after K-turn, or Talons.
