Go for a tap? Valen rudor nakie is 22 so chuck on ptl/v1/vi to your liking
TIE Avanced Prototype: ยท Valen Rudor (22)
Veteran Instincts (1)
Autothrusters (2)
TIE/v1 (1)
Or go for ptl for repositioning hijinks and free up points on something else (or just go inquisitor lol)
oh I don't mind that idea....
VI for Juke may be good fun too as you get the free Evade from the TL with the title.
Tomax Bren (27)
TIE Bomber (24), Crack Shot (1), Flechette Torpedoes (2), Guidance Chips (0)
One time stress and reusable crack helps his weak offense.
so "omega just dies"
26 points
so is Biggs
Omega = Biggs
sounds like a good addition to me
GSV + crack + concussion + em + LRS
Gives you a nice early punch.
The Imperial answer: more TIEs. I suggest a couple generic TIEs to block and give you more attack dice to roll. You could make one of them Wampa. Any chance to deal a damage card is a good chance.
TIE Shuttle/Fleet/Systems/Mark 2/Wingman. Flown right lets you k turn Whisper a lot more freely than usual, and lets you start the opening engagement with a focus/evade/locked whisper.
The problem I'm finding is that I don't really like flying Omega Leader. Ryad and Whisper do all the work and Omega just dies. Any other good way to spend 22 points when flying for the Galactic Empire? Or is Omega really the only choice?
edit: 27 points.
If you're winning your games because people are ignoring Whisper then I'd say that OL is doing his job by drawing aggro away from her as she's a tough closer to beat.
That being said, if you feel like a change then there's nothing wrong with a couple academy pilots and a crew for Whisper. Rebel Captive and Agent Kallus are the most popular ones in my area.
For 22pts, you want like, Zeta Leader. Especially in a list about dishing damage.
