To FFG, regarding FAQ erratas and fixes

Do have any idea how many points "Reinforce" would be worth on a high health ship? On it's worst day getting hit 4 for 4 by Phantoms it would provide 3 health to a punisher. It would consistently provide 5 or more in a typical game. It would make the already marginal 2 attack ships completely worthless.

It's a 100% effective C3P0 that works in ADDITION to your other defenses on every attack, and we all know how effective 3p0 is.

All true. Would this be an adequate trade off?

It needs to joust, though, so this would completely eviscerate its offensive capabilities, since it has sh** for action economy.

Honestly, the Punisher gets mauled SO much that adding that reinforce wouldn't turn it into too much of a monster. Maybe the title that gives you the Reinforce takes away some upgrade slots?

Dat Repaint looks absolutely awesome. Also like Vader's repaint. +1 for that. (But I think it's not yours, since yours are all magnetized? ;) )

my imps aren't magnetized until they fall off something and break their pegs. They don't have the wingspan that makes magnetization necessary

the punisher is too heavy for ball magnets that even the K sorta bears, though, so I wouldn't recommend it

My crazy idea to help the Punisher, a title

Ordnance Payload Optimization Computer:

You may equip a Comm Relay card at zero cost. If you begin the game with at least one empty bomb, missle, or torpedo slot, you may begin the game with one evade token. Each time you fire a missle, torpedo, or drop a bomb you may add one evade token to your ship.

Buddy of mine and I had a thought that we liked. Punisher Title call it whatever you want. "Once per round after you perform an attack, you may perform a (torpedo) or (missile) attack." So for round one you fire a primary and then you have your FCS grab locks so you can shoot ordnance. Then if you live you can get two ordnance shots next round. They still die really fast, but now you have a chance to use all that ordnance that makes taking them worth it.

Honestly - I think the Punisher needs a buff, but I don't think Reinforce is it. The Punisher wants to be taking actions making its shots better, either TL or focus, or it wants to be taking actions raining hot netty death on people. Taking a Reinforce action is a pretty low third on the list of priorities.

I honestly don't think there's a good way to improve them more than they already have been without a title that makes all ordnance they equip cheaper somehow.

Unless Lightweight Frame is really good, which would be funny, but it would compete with Chimps/LRS, at least for Redline, assuming it's a mod.

The main advantage of a Tie Punisher over 4 Tie Bombers (fluff-wise) is that the 4 torps it could fire are able to arrive at the same target or even subsystem of the target - at the same time. Damage output is maximized.

To fix the punisher its either to make it cheaper to use, like infinite ammo - so you need to put only one ordnance upgrade on it and there you go it lasts for the whole game.

Or you increase the potential damage output per round - make it an single alpha strike craft (and this is the way to best reflect the fluff) by allowing an attack for each equipped secondary weapon (torps and missiles) in a round.

This may sound harsh but the Punisher needs an OP fix. Right now there is no reason to take it unless you want to to this little Deathrain tricky tricky throwing Cluster Mines in your face thingy.
