This is the first time I actually ordered two expansions.

Pretty much for all the miniatures. I think there is some pretty solid miniatures in this expansion. But two Rancors and extra Gamorrean guards was what did it for me.
Now if we could only get some Tauntauns

I've read somewhere that it will be in early 2017! That's too far!

FFG doesn't give official release dates. Usually 6-8 weeks on the boat, 1-2 to ship to stores. Probab drop a week if in the US, probably add a week due to Asmodee in the chain in Europe.
i thought it was originally stated for 3rd quarter of 2016? for FFG this usually means the next quarter than originally stated. So if i had to make an educated guess, i'd say November - December sometime

You can always check this thread out for a review of when last IA stuff got on the boat to the time it released. Pretty interesting stuff if you're new and haven't checked it out.
A good tail wind and calm seas and sure, it will be here before Christmas. Otherwise the holidays may push it until the beginning of next year.
Maybe if Coolstuff has a 50% off sale I'll order a second one, but not paying full price for 2 and then getting blisters too.

Really? I saw a post stating that it wasn't until something like Nov 11th last year that Hoth hit the boats.

Either way, its before Hoth went on to the boat, so we can hope it comes out a bit earlier.
In South Africa, Hoth entered the country just before Christmas, but the stores didn't have it available until after New Years because of the holidays...

I'm usually a proponent of having more characters rather than variations of ones we already have, but I'd be all for this.
Slave Leia no longer exists according to Disney. Don't get your hopes up.
(personally, I view her as never having been a slave... she voluntarily stayed there in order to be part of Luke's master plan... and she had a closet-full of slave-wear to choose from and SHE picked the bikini... knowing it would distract the guards... it depends on your point of view.)
