I can't wait to test the ARC and FO this weekend! (I don't play scum... but the protectorate is making me re-evaluate that statement.)

I've been flying Rey all week and never had as much fun. Really hoping HOTR is out by next Friday.

Got a summer kit to play, probably going to run the Countess/Vessery/Omega Leader since I have practice with it.

Picked up a TIE/sf last week with store credit, so hopefully I get to fly it in some casual games as well. Got plans for a fun Zeta Squadron list and an Omega Squadron list.

ive got too many things i wanna do lol.

Armada game today, but also new DLC for Stellaris came out and i bought the Startrek Ascendancy box and yet to use it.

I'm playing Rebellion tonight with a buddy and I'm going to try and teach him how to use a squadbuilder. He's spent a good chunk of change on X-Wing and is just getting into it. I'm hoping I can drag him to Regionals with me in November.

The rest of the weekend will be working and church.

I got to just play some regular games last night. I played the Shadow Caster for the first time. Got three games in. Made one bad mistake that decided the game on one turn. I was torn between 1 straight or 4 straight. I went 4 and I would've won if I had gone 1. Doh! Second game had me beat J-bot. Third game had me against a hard Palp Aces with Yorr list. Yorr really ruined all the 4 x BMST I had in the list. It was brutal. Had fun, though!

I have yet to try the TIE/sf, and I haven't yet played *every* new pilot, but I absolutely love Wave 9. The Shadowcaster's mobile firing arc is a lot of fun to use (and isn't as difficult as I anticipated, at least with the Gyro mod), and HOLY HELL it is fast. The Protectorates are such amazing knife-fighters. The Title and Fearlessness make it quite unlike anything else in the game: something that loves to be both at range 1 AND in-arc. Its least favorite place is range 2, by far, and I love the challenge that presents (do I hang back and let my Autothrusters carry me, or can I make it to range 1 if I charge in?).

And then there's the ARC. It can be difficult to make work, but oh my god. So much fun to use, and its dial is probably the easiest-to-use of all the 1-agility ships.

And then Heroes comes out next week. I am so excited to breathe new life into my T-70s.

I ran my Scum Aces against a Ghost and Slaver, had a lot of fun with Fenn, Talonbane and VI Old Terry.

Not much play this weekend. Waiting for next Thursday to use my store credit and pick up HotR and we'll see ... maybe a Scyk, maybe a Y-Wing and another foam carrier for my growing collection of starships.

Wave 9 and wave 10 are going to be Christmas stuff so nothing as of right now, but that will be different in a couple of months.
