What card would you design?

Lando's Falcon has been ninja'ed by Hera Syndulla.

Perhaps he still has a chance to appear as a commander, after all he did reach general rank.

I've always wanted a card that lets you pick up squads or deploy them off a squad command. Get more control over where they are on the board.

"Squad Command: Deploy or remove squads up to your squad command at range 1 of you. Squads deployed this way are treated as activated for this round. Squads removed this way may be redeployed later, and if the ship that removed them is destroyed, the squads are destroyed as well."

Offensive Retrofit: 8 points.

It does look like you're getting at least most of that mechanic in Wave 5.

Defensive retrofit, modification

Enhanced Shields:

Grant 3 extra shields to ships before the start of the first round. To be placed where the player chooses (6 shields max on any 1 hull zone). Non-recoverable (like an engineering command couldn't recover the extra shields)

Unique Officer (Rebels, don't know who'd fit the bill)

Small base only

Barrel Roll-NAV, exhaust: if current speed is 3 or 4, you may suffer 1 damage to place the ship on the other side of the maneuver template (ship must not overlap)

I would make an Obi Wan Kenobi officer card that you could discard to gain the effects of any other officer card, of either faction, for the duration of that turn.

That would be some nifty force Ghost powers!

But if you discarded the card it would become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.

So the Composite Turbo is basically ACM, at red range? With just as much of a chance of proccing? For the same cost. I'd think it needs a heftier price.

But that Composite Ion sounds really cool. Basically a super charged ICB that can't be mitigated by command tokens. I like it. And making them both modifications prevents a supercharged blast that literally wouldnt even care about redirects

Which has caused me to think of another upgrade- can't decide what slot would best fit it, though a title seems most likely. Maybe officer?

Imagine MC30 torps with rapid reload/expanded launchers and enhanced armament. Or an ISD with Enhanced armament and heavy Ion cannon batteries.

Timing makes the first a bit overpowered. Crit effects are applied before applying the damage. Nice idea

Reinforce Hull

Modification

When your ship overlaps another ship while moving, the other ship receives 2 damage cards instead of one.

Support Team upgrade. 4 points.

Support slot stops it from being doubled up with engine techs.

I also wouldn't complain about one that causes faceup damage if you ram someone.

then it would just be ion cannon batteries with out the command token phrase

Good point. I totally forgot about that card. maybe I should use that sometime.

I've suggested this once before in another thread.

Imperial Officer upgrade (unique), Lt Flaq, 6 points.

At the start of the first round, you may replace your ship's anti squadron armament with a single red die.

offensive upgrade, ramming prow when you overlap another ship with your front hull zone deal a face up card to other ship.

You would need to state that this ability would replace the regular ramming ability, otherwise, you would be dealing two damage cards!

I'll take all three. I can abuse the ever-loving hell out of that with a Screed led Glad/Raider swarm.

Combat Space Patrol

At activation, choose a number of squadrons within medium range up to the Squadron rating of the ship.

Attacks against you by bombers that are engaged with the selected squadrons are treated as obstructed.

That is still a Mysterious Mystery of the Mysteriously Mysterious Mystery....

Commander Sato. Or Jamming Fields.

Some offensive team related to fighters (can't think of a good name) on a squadron command all fighters activated by this ship gain either counter 1 or escort until the end of the round.

Kyber Enhanced Turbolasers: Turbolaser Upgrade. 10 pts. Modification. "Critical Effect: Only dice showing a crit deal damage. This damage ignores the shields of the targeted ship.

Fast-tracking Turbolaser Turrets: Turbolaser Upgrade. 6 points. An Accuracy icon can cancel out two of any combination of Evade or Scatter Defense tokens.
