I think the official Armada playmat is two X Wing playmats.

I know, but I already have one 3x3 mat with Armada branding, I need another.

Interesting stuff. I was hoping the playmat would be top 8 or top 4. The acrylic objective tokens are interesting. The dice are nice but we are getting more dice for the regional prizes. A little disappointed no alternate art ship or squadron or attack length ruler sets. Personally I think the national championship prizes are better overall.

Compared to X-wing and Game of Thrones these prizes are underwhelming in the extreme.

To be fair, the prize support improved in X-wing. Both Regionals and Nationals were pretty terrible this year (save for the regionals dice at top 4). I mean, I won Regionals, and broke top 64 at Nationals, and I basically walked away with a set of dice between the two, in terms of useful/good prizes.

That Bossk alt-art is so hideous, I can't even bring myself to use it, and the Hera one from Regionals isn't much better. It's slightly frustrating to see the prize support for each of those tournaments compared to last years and next years.

I see no reason they would make a 6x3 Armada mat. (which is what I really hope you meant. a 6x6 would be a logistical nightmare)

Instead, I'm gonna get two space mats, one Endor mat, one Yavin mat, and one Bespin mat. I can play wherever I want, consistant with the theme of the day.
