Worlds 2016 Prizes Announced

By CBMarkham, in X-Wing

Out of all the pilots they had to pick the Inquisitor... so much for having a promo of the guy. :(

Let's see... three copies for all participants, so there's what, 300 slots for worlds, 400? so there will be around 1000 copies of the inquisitor floating around. Watch ebay after worlds, prices will be high, but eventually they'll come down. (Unless it's wedge, then it just goes to 100 dollars and sits there... that's probably my favorite alt art card to...)

There is one thing we must do:

- Make the Winner read this forum so he designs the ASSAULT GUNBOAT with FFG

You people do realize the gunboat is a ship, right? And Big Maus only allows canon ships now, right? FFG doesn't really get a say in what ships they get to produce anymore, only how they are incorporated into the game. I don't think sabine's masterpiece was on the top of the list (With the pilots were getting, it should really be an early A-wing model anyway).

You people (that is gunboat fanboys) waste so much of your time bashing FFG, you never stop to think who ultimately owns the Stars Wars license now. Or the artists that get to help design the universe of that license. I'm sure if a bunch of you got together and sent Pablo Hidalgo, and Dave Filoni, and maybe Andi Guiterrez a really nice, well thought out, letter, signed by all of you, that the assault gunboat could probably still make an appearance in the back half of Rebels season 3, and then it would be canon, and Disney would green light it for FFG.(Example: The Interdictor class cruiser. Grand Admiral Thrawn.)

As it sits now, New star wars stuff is top priority, old EU stuff gets flushed out the garbage chute.

And the rule is one new card, not one new expansion.

I wonder if PHeaver is going to design an astromech this time, should he keep the crown...(already done an EPT, A crew, and ???)

I think it's a bit absurd that the playmat awarded to the champion is just a retail playmat with a small logo in the corner.

Starviper was launched in the game after Disney bought Starwars, for example, and as you Know the Starviper is a ship from a Video Game.

And yes, I keed my hope that we will see in Rebels Admiral Thrawn designs and order to build the Assault Gunboat

You know FFG works a long way ahead and produced it before it was bought?

Down with gunboats, entitled whiners.

Wish I could go, just for the challenge coin ... anyone going and doesn't want theirs can contact me ...

Paul Heaver if you see this and you win worlds (again) could you please make an astromech that is awesome.

Pretty please with cherries and and whipped cream

P1-H6 - 8 points

Present your opponent with the "World Champion Condition Card" When this droid is removed from the game, remove the "WCCC"

"World Champion"

As long as this card is in play, you cannot win and the owner cannot lose.

You also do understand that nothing has changed in the relationship between FFG and LFL. LFL has always had final say on what ships they could make. Also, Jumpmaster and Mist Hunter were both developed after Disney took over and "nuked" the canon. Marketing the new, visible ships is a smart direction.
