Center Against Domestic Violence
In a historically male dominated hobby we feel it is our duty to act as allies and active participants in the prevention of interpersonal violence. On that note this event’s proceeds are going to support The Center Against Domestic Violence for the second year running.
The Center Against Domestic Violence works toward a society free of violence and abuse. The Center leads the way by offering education and prevention programs and promoting the well-being and economic independence of survivors of abuse.
Dedicated to cultivating a society free from abuse, the Center Against Domestic Violence drives cultural change through education and intervention.
Their groundbreaking programs for high school, middle school and elementary school students teach young people how to identify and avoid domestic violence so they can develop healthy relationships.
The individualized services provided by their shelters strive to give residents the tools they need to break the pattern of domestic violence and start life anew.
Tournament Structure:
The Hangar Bay format!
You will need to bring two standard squads that follow the 100-point maximum.
These squads will use the same damage deck and obstacles. For the summertime space jam, you may only utilize each unique pilot or upgrade card in one list. (I.E. Emperor Palpatine will appear in no more than one of your two lists)
Hangar Bay format rounds each begin by placing your first squad on your left, and your second squad on your right. After evaluating your opponent’s squads, both of you will secretly select which squad to field for this round by using a maneuver dial. Rotate to a 1-speed maneuver to select your first squad on your left, or a 2-speed maneuver to select your second squad on your right, and then place your maneuver dial facedown. Next, each player reveals their dial simultaneously, and removes their unselected squad from the table.
Players normally make all of the decisions about what ships they will deploy for each game before they even come to the tournament. But with the Hangar Bay format, players get to experience that strategic excitement prior to each round of play!
Please bring copies of your lists with you.
We will be using fantasy flight’s official tournament rules (in addition to the hangar bay clauses above) at casual level, these can always be found here:

[Brooklyn, NY] Skirmish for Safety Charity Event November 20th - Hangar Bay!
Thanks to your help between the two days we were able to raise $2100 for the Center Against Domestic Violence! This will be matched 100% through a corporate sponsor as well, making this donation more than 5 times what we were able to raise this year.

Aaron took down warmachine with a 4-0 record with Una2.
Marek went undefeated in X-Wing between his two lists.
And this wouldn't have been possible with out the generous donations from our sponsors. Thank you all so much!
