Freedom from Flesh -MOB questions

By Alarmed, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

In Freedom from Flesh, the heroes have to rescue villagers.

My question is about the timing of "rescue"

The rules for the quest state "Each time a hero that is not tainted ends his turn adjacent to a prisoner, he may rescue 1 prisoner"

and "If a hero carrying a prisoner ends his turn on the Entrance or the Exit, he rescues that prisoner"

Since there are quest effects that are dependent on the number of prisoners rescued, when are the prisoners considered actually rescued?

1) You confused me by saying MoB. It's a CtR quest.

2) I'm 83% certain that first "rescue" is a typo, and it should say, "carry". This should definitely be run by FFG, though. If it is a typo, it should be corrected. If it's not, that's important, too.

The Entrance/Exit mechanic still makes sense in either case, since the heroes cannot simultaneously carry enough villagers to win (if carrying is indeed rescuing).

Sorry! That's what you get for typing a question before having coffee in the morning.

I was going to take it to FFG, as I agree with you that the first "rescue" should be worded differently if they intend it to be carrying them to entrance exit to count.

I sent it, I will post the answer once I receive it

Reply from Nathan:

Yes, the first "rescue" should actually be "carry." The villagers are only rescued once the hero makes it to the Exit or the Entrance. I will make a note of this.
