I cannot get the idea of having a two hero deck with Treebeard as the one with Strider attached. I don't know if this will lead to a viable deck, but at least I have to try it...

Anyhow, I need a second hero. Most probably to start in secrecy would be good. Spirit Merry or Glorfindel popping up in my head. Basically to have access to U.C. ...

Tactics would give you access to Boomed and Trumpeted. Couple with TaEowyn and you have reasonable threat and can start in secrecy, plus quest for six without any help out of the gate. Also you can use Entmoot to pull in red ents as well as green ones.

Yea, that would be a way. Did not thought about Eowyn, because she is favoured like Steward of Gondor in my play group.

Getting Strider in the starting hand and find resourcefull not later than round 2 could be difficult. Also, I think I'd miss some readying effects in tactics. No Lembas (but Boomed and Trumped) and no cards from Leadership or Spirit... but could work.....

I would look into using someone like Arwen or Glorfindel. Then you can run Light of Valinor as well to allow you to get multiple actions out of your hero's. Both of my strider decks on Ringsdb are meant to get extra actions for your heros.
