I know FFG was having issues with Amazon sending out Expansions before the actual release(received Imp Vets. and Shadowcaster a week early). But I havn't even seen HoTR for sale on Amazon... With the release date coming up soon was just curious if anyone knew why Amazon won't even let you pre order yet.

Funny, I looked for it yesterday on Amazon and it wasn't there and I had much the same thought. They will (no doubt) be getting it, but I wonder if FFG/Asmodee are delaying giving them the info to prevent them sending out earlier than anyone else?

Did you read the original post? He wasn't questioning the release date, he was curious that with a street date of 9/27 (next week) it isn't listed at all on Amazon yet.

I don't care about a release date on Amazon. I was just saying that ever since I started playing X-wing once an expansion had been announced Amazon had always had a SKU# for whatever expansion it was gonna release months before its actual release. There isn't even a product to pre order. Its fine, I'll prob just pick it up at a local game store in a few weeks. Just was wondering if anyone knew why it wasn't available.
Well Amazon never got Wave 3/4 for Armada, so you never know. My guess it will show up in a few days.
Amazon was told to hide SWX58 until the last possible second, and they accidentally hid HotR too!

I just did a quick look at the most recent HotR news articles, and I don't see the date. But! If folks are saying their FLGS are confirming, I'm not going to complain!
Amazon says the 4th, coolstuff says the 27th, several people have reported the 27th from the LGS. However, I am completely sure we will know with certainty in two days time.
I filed a report on Amazon that their release date was wrong. Hopefully, they will update it.
FFG has a release event on the 27th at the Game Center. I suspect they are going to have it in stock then.
My LGS just changed their date from 27th back to the 31st. But this may be a local shipping delay rather than a change of the worldwide release date.

Just want to say that I love that you use Amazon Smile. Really helps out those non-profits. We have a scholarship foundation and we get (at a small scale) around 20-30 dollars a quarter just from people using Amazon Smile.
