What are good lists that just don't care about control? Still newer to the game.....

You will have to be more specific when you say "control", to me at least, that can me a lot of things. Using a specific ship for bumping can be control, stealing tokens can be control, Biggs Darklighter controls everyone for a couple attack rounds, etc.

There's nothing in the game that is 'immune' to control (here I assume you mean stress and ion). However, some ships can come close (Tycho for example cares not about stress tokens, although he cares a LOT about getting hit by Slicer Tools!). Dengar w/ zuckuss is also indifferent about stress (not ion, however), but doesn't care for slicers (although not super threatening), but of course his gal, Manny, hates stress dealers quite a bit (and someone like Ventress can hunt her down very easily).

Having said that, control builds have never been dominant and never will be since they are not effortless to apply. Ventress is a new top tier ship though, and anyone wishing to participate in high level competition will be in for a big surprise if they haven't practiced and/or developed a plan to deal with her in preparation...

I am referring to control as a list that can force inaction....does that help?
