I would have much rather seen it go unique if they are going to nerf Uboats. I need to hurry up and find a new squad to run before regionals in a few weeks. It kind of sucks because I think I'll only be able to get in a couple of games between then and now.

No, no, and no. Unique is so stupid. It hurts EVERY ordinance carrier that has an EPT. So no. Terrible idea. How they changed it works well enough to quiet most of the obnoxious forum goers that had to complain about them all the time.

Small ship only is just as stupid. Unique is the kind of stupid that doesn't effect me personally though.

Squads that use Deadeye on a bunch of small base ships are all lists that someone may theoretically run. I've never seen Deadeye on anything other than Nera Dantels and U-Boats. This is the squad I've run for months and don't really have time to change out before regionals. The whiners didn't really need to get me nerfed. I run enough other suboptimal crap that they really should have let me keep my U-boat. FFG needs to be sensitive to my needs.

I've run and seen others run deadeye on tie bombers with ordnance, so no, its not a stupid change

You just weren't vocal enough. Most of my local players love playing bombers with deadeye. Shame you think that it should be relegated back to no man's land.
