I was wondering if the Snapshot will work with Youngster...

And so on, my question was : what about making him go back in the field...

Is this possible to work?

I don't think it works. Youngster says friendly TIE fighters can perform the aaction equipped on your equipped EPT. Snap Shot doesn't say "action" it says "attack" - I feel this slight wording difference makes it ineligible.

That's correct. Only EPTs that have the 'action' header are worth putting on Youngster.

So many people (myself included) want Youngster to be a thing. Sadly all the good stuff doesn't work. It's almost as if they playtest this stuff. I still lobby for marksmanship swarms with Howlrunner

Not true. He works fairly well with Rage with a swarm of 7 academy pilots. You just need to not think he's howlrunner and try to use it every turn. The ability to get Rage and still have 8 bodies on the board is actually surprisingly useful.
