There's a mistake on page 20, what does IG-D have to do with shooting again....?
New faq
Right, but unless youre deadeye scouts (illegal now) or have LRS, ordnance is kinda rare unless its of the focus type (prockets, deadeye on small ships, tracers).
I suspect bombers, kwings, and whoever Manaroo is feeding are the only ones that will ignore biggs with ordnance commonly. Only ones? no, but the main ones.

Deadeye errata: Although happy to see the Tripple Uboat nerfed to oblivion - a single Uboat actually offered a nice addition to many of my squads, sad to see that one go.
Perhaps a case for a new Deadeye (Unique) that can be equipped on a large ship?

As soon as it's published, unless otherwise stated. I seem to remember one FAQ saying something about it not going into effect until some date.

Same!
I'm glad they didn't go the unique route (for the nerf) because that punishes small ship ordnance carriers too much. But I'm sad to see my jank swarm go.

"Effective 10/24/16"
Right after the version number. So, next week.
OTOH, Scum no longer has to build around the expectation of Torp Boats, either. And now they get buffed Scyks to play with.
What exactly does that open to Scum ? Going back to TLTs? If anything Dengaroo is stronger since triple Scouts were one of the weakest matchups.
Also, fixed Scyks went from 'terrible' to 'all right'. They're not the new x7 Defenders, not even close.
I hope I'm wrong, but I feel that this nerf has sent Scum right back to the last place in regard to the variety (but not power) of competitive options.
Edited by LordBladesThere is a dengaroo build around deadeye too. Less common but thats now dead too.
Put your cards in sleeves, write the errata on the sleeve in permanent marker.Anyone either already marked their errata cards or plan to do so in the future? I have not but would be tempted to start with this big ball of errata. Maybe a tiny post-it with the alterations?
That way if the errata ever changes, your cards are still safe.
Print out an errata verison of the card, put it in the same sleeve with the original, would work too.
"Attani Mindlink
If a ship with Attani Mindlink receives multiple focus or
stress tokens as part of the same effect (such as with
Recon Specialist or Rage), each other friendly ship with
Attani Mindlink receives only 1 of that token.
If a ship with Attani Mindlink flees the battlefield while
performing a red maneuver, the ship is immediately
destroyed and does not receive a stress token. If a
ship with Attani Mindlink overlaps an obstacle with
performing a red maneuver, the ship receives the
stress token before rolling for damage since the
damage is rolled after skipping the "Perform Action" step"
How do you equip Rage and Attani Mindlink? That would be awesome. Maybe an Awing extra EPT fix coming?
My only issue with the Heavy Scyk fix change is that you will still never see a non-heavy Scyk.

Question in regards to the new rule about making a white 2 straight after revealing a red maneuver while stressed. Why does page 6 of the FAQ still say that the opponent gets to choose the maneuver if you can't use a game effect to change the maneuver you revealed away from the red one you originally revealed?

Bad editing seems the most likely culprit.

Isn't that kind of a bland ship anyways? Would be interesting to see if some crazy people try Missile Scycks now. Like this:
Tansarii Point Veteran (17)
Attanni Mindlink (1)
Proton Rockets (3)
Guidance Chips (0)
"Heavy Scyk" Interceptor (Missile) (2)

Okay, probably not. Maybe with Homing Missiles and Tractor Beam.
I still don't have faith in it, though.
So what happens if a ship with shaken pilot reveals a straight maneuver? What's the penalty?
now if they would un-nerf Kavel!!! and make scum Ys viable again!!!
Technically, if you have the crit no fwds and you assign a forward, you didnt trigger the new rule. The new rule specifically mentions red maneuvers while stressed.
So, i would wager if you did a fwd and you had that crit, your opponent still sets your dial.

Only when I took them, but that kind of was shown in the "still never" part of my comment. I mean, they should be viable ships, too.

Actually, I kinda like them. If they were a point cheaper, they would be great. They are much more maneuverable than Z-95's and are kind of like a Scum Tie Fighter, but they get TL! I've actually used that TL more than you would think.
