I love Omega Leader in the endgame and I love good rolls with Omega Leader since they put the hurt on ships that he has TL on. So, I figured it is an excellent idea to pair a Palp-shuttle with OL (duh) to both keep him alive through some opening exhange heat he might take and to help get some crits on those red dice since OL will often get those through.

I want the rest of the list to be self-sufficient and offensive because what I rather dislike about typical Palp-lists is that you have to be patient and somewhat careful, which is really not my playing style.

So, I figured, why not just throw 3 Black Squadron pilots in there with Crack Shot. They will give the Palp-shuttle some cover and they will get some hits in with Crack Shot (and possibly some Palp help). With 5 ships on the table the list becomes offensive against many builds out there, or should in any case not fear a joust in general (which I like).

In any case, here is the list:

Omega Leader/ Comm Relay/ Juke 26 pts

Omicron/ Palp 29 pts

3x Black Squadron/ Crack Shot 45 pts

What lists would this build fear?

Dash/Ghost lists would chew this up pretty quickly -- OL, while perfect at tagging Dash, will still find it difficult to keep him in arc, while he and the VCX can take down 1-2 TIEs a turn, possibly. Not enough damage output from the entire list to counter the slightly popular Double VCX lists, either.

Also, without some ability to consistently mod dice, 2 dice primary attacks, even with Crackshot, are not going to pan out favorably. Aces wouldn't have enough to fear from this list, assuming you're able to get them in more than one arc.
