U-Wing is a troop transport?

By Hidatom, in X-Wing

Cluster Mines would like to have a word with you.

As I've posted in other threads; consider the U-Wing the UH-1 'Huey' of the Star Wars world.

Bingo! It is absolutely the Rebel Huey.

It all depends on whether the Rogue One crew sits on top of their helmets or not.

This is the crew on top, making a well deserved brake between two battles.

As an aside, the U-wing being a transport is what I'm using as a basis for my prediction that an X-wing ground war game is coming. Mostly because when it enters the game, each faction will have a ship capable of stopping in game, and transporting a complement of troops in lore. Lambda, U-wing, YV-666. Perhaps the basis for a troop deployment mechanic? First Order also has Command Shuttle coming soon, and the Resistance could receive their modified B-wing Transport. Also they are adding the Striker, which is stated to be an atmospheric fighter. An entire wave of atmospheric ships could then be enabled: Snow Speeder for Rebels, Cloud Car for Scum, Empire had a police transport at the end of Clone Wars. U-wing has 'Landing Mode'. Do you not think that is a clue?

There is still a SKU missing for you guys. That's my theory.
