Maybe I missed the discussion on this but I just found out about this nice little upgrade that lets the shuttle ignore crits from astroids. Thats handy for zero points

Perfect for the Palpshuttle that was otherwise missing a system upgrade (like Palpjousters) but didn't have the points (or init was too important)...

Mine has saved me a couple of shields over the 8-9 games I've been trying it. Totally worth filling the otherwise empty slot.

Empty system slot? Your palp shuttle doesn't come automatically with electronic baffle attached? Weird.
