Paint storage solutions

By Leveton, in Imperial Assault Painting and Modification

I figured out how to store all of my Imperial Assault stuff shortly after the game was released. Now I'm running into issues storing all the paints I've been gathering. I'd like a setup to organize and store my paints where I can pick out the paint I need at a glance. As it is, I'm keeping them in unused boxes from a couple of board game expansions just so it's easier to keep track of the whole supply.

So, how do you organize and store your paints? Photos would be great, and where to get any store-bought solutions.

I am in the same boat. I'm getting deeper and deeper into the minis and the paints are piling up. Not just the paints but proper brush storage? I've got mine spaced out in a cup, but Ive got 3 more on the way so I will have to upgrade to two cups! I've seen a few small set ups at Micheals but nothing that could hold the scale we are talking about.

I use a plano 3730 for the bottles from vallejo, Reaper, and army painter. I use a 3750 for testors model master, tamyia, and if I purchase any of citadel paints.

At the moment I use two sort boxes that I guess are meant for tools and screws: http://www.clasohlson.com/uk/23-Compartment-Assortment-Box/40-6904

One of those can hold about 50-60 Citadel paint pots. Depends how many dividers are used. The bad thing about those is that they're not high enough for Army Painter or Vallejo paint bottles. I don't have many of those though.

These Hobbyzone products are amazing.

I use two nail polish containers. This is my main storage at my desk: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GBCPM6I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And this is my "on-the-go" carrier for painting in other rooms: https://www.amazon.com/Ikee-Design-Acrylic-Jewelry-Cosmetic/dp/B00DUJEWDE/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1476758150&sr=8-11&keywords=nail+polish+organizer

They work well for their intended purposes. (mainly use vallejo dropper bottles, which fit in the slots)

I use the Hobbyzone system, and it is amazing.

As far as I can tell, krzykoopa, each row should be able to hold eight, maybe even nine Citadel pots, so 48-54 pots per rack. It could hold even more of Vallejo or Army Painter, with their narrower, taller bottles.

Awesome, Thank you
