Quick query here - does the VCX-100 have a rear facing special arc all the time or only when it has the phantom or torpedos?

The reason i ask is that I saw a game where a protectorate used fearlessness while behind the ghost. Seemed a bit strange as it had no way to attack out of the rear (other than an autoblaster, but thats by the by).

Then I had a thought about the new Jyn Erso card which reads:

Action: Choose 1 friendly ship at Range 1-2. Assign 1 focus token to that ship for each enemy ship inside your firing arc at Range 1-3. You cannot assign more than 3 tokens in this way.

So can Jyn Erso use either the primary or special arc (as both are arcs)? Thinking this could be quite useful....

The arc is there all the time, and counts for anything that just specifies 'arc'. It's not a primary arc, nor is it an auxiliary arc.

So, Jyn works in it, autothrusters are cancelled by it, Tactician works in it, but Tail Gunner doesn't.
