First, a disclaimer: I'm a noob painter. I've played several miniature games for a gazillion years (40k, Blood Bowl, Necromunda...) but due several reasons (laziness, doing something I'm not good at despairs me...) I've never painted more than a couple base colours to a few Terminators. In other words: the ships below are the first things I've ever fully painted.

The first ship I painted was this Kath's Firespray around a year ago, as using two Slave 1 on my loved dual FS lists annoyed me. I'm really happy with the result, and it led to me wanting to paint more stuff.

...although due a break with the game I didn't touch any paint until some weeks ago, where I repainted my third* ( ) Firespray with Jango's scheme. Kudos to Jay Adan for the inspiration.

*The other Firespray is the Andrasta you can find on this other thread.

My last work has been an ARC-170 with Razor Squadron scheme. First time I've tried to do some modest freehand, blending (with inks in the cockpits) and sponge chipping.

Oh that's a nice arc. Wanna do a reapaint on them but i only have 1 and the factory scheme is one of the best in the range imo.

A new repaint, a cloaking/decloaking TIE Phantom.

It's a classic X-Wing repaint, but as I only started to mess with these things recently I didn't had yet the chance to paint it. I've also tried to use a random pattern instead the usual "front" or "back" cloak. And yes, the top wing tip is MIA. I only realized that when I had the thing half painted

The wingtip isn't missing, it's cloaked FOR REAL...!

They are from Armada, bought from random guys/trading forums/ebay and some good patience to wait until they appeared at a decent price. Have passed months between the first couple I bought until the last ones.

Wait... of all the things in the Rogues and Villains pack someone sold off the Firesprays? That's probably the best ship in there

BWT the idea with the target locks is really cool. As is the default imperial gray Silencer. Somehow without the dark grey it doesn't look modern at all.

This was the first thing I ever fully painted, and while I liked how it looked for such a simple and quick job, I've decided to repaint her once again due the change on the lists she's in on 2.0, moving from dual Firespray lists to fliying with her minions, so she: A) will get her true colours (#TeamMetalKath) and B) she will match the Binary pirates fleet I'm preparing. I've also added some battle damage. And I need to buy gloss varnish for the cockpit.
