So I went to a small 10-man tournament last Saturday and got second place with this list. Funny thing is I beat the guy who won during the last round, but I was down a few MOV
.
Anyway, onto the list:
Imperial Lockdown
Carnor Jax, PTL, ATs.
Omega Leader, Juke, Comm Relay.
Wampa.
Palpshuttle, Enhanced Scopes.
The idea of the list is to, well, lock down opposing ships from using tokens. Plus it performs extremely well vs Defenders, the bane of the meta, here at least (Triple Defenders won the tournament). Carnor denies a Defender pretty much every defensive bonus, Omega Leader TLs something at never lets go and Wampa goes though shields and defense dice. As a plus, you also get to do very well vs Dengaroo. You will be surprised how easily a Defender dies when it has no tokens to rely on (or not, if you have played Defenders before the cheese, I mean TIE/x7 title came out).
Also, Omega Leader is a beast 1v1. He costs only 26 points though, so anything strong enough to make it to late game is usually more expensive than him, forcing you to play aggressively.
Anyway, what do you think? Did I just make the discovery of the anti-meta imperials, or am I late to the party?
