If the empire had access to Biggs and means to regain shields I'd say that this could be interesting.

I'm not fond of expensive top pilots with abilities that trigger probably only once in a game. Of course I'd focus him down, if that is what you wanted. Making him a more expensive Fel's Wrath.

Well, then she (really, game designers also are artists of sort, you do a disrespect to the character they envisioned in my opinion) is a Biggs that gets to shoot back once and in the proper squad (with more alpha striking capabilities) has a reasonable chance at taking someone else out. You kill her and are have still lost a ship and now you are up against imperial late game options.

(Even the german translation suggests that Quickdraw is a he - so forgive me my ignorance in this point - I'm just more comfortable to refer Quickdraw as a he. And those preview articles by FFG marketing are not free of mistakes either.)

If you make Quickdraw work for you - fine. At least you are able to juggle with the target priority. For me its still a no no as long as Quickdraw can't regain shields.
