New adventure! Ghosts of Dathomir

By Jegergryte, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

So, not sure if people noticed, what with the apocalypse of the changing forums and all, but there's a new article up about this adventure :) .

It's not exceptionally informative, but it's got some neat art!

I don't know if "commands respect" is the appropriate term to describe the spinny lightsabers. More like "commands derision."

Do we know what that new Force power is yet?

Nope! They've been very coy about reveling it's name. Which, as you can imagine, is exceptionally annoying to one such as myself! >_<

From that article it's "something entirely new" and "hasn't been seen since the clone wars." I have no idea.

That sure would fit the descriptions we have been getting of a haunted location.

was that in the Clone Wars? (No big spoilers if possible since I'm half way through binging season 1... latebto the party I know ?

Yes, in many ways the witch magic was more like witch doctor magick. Though in many ways it was not either. You will see when you come to it. :)
And yeah, very late to the party, TCW actually gone from my local netflix catalog since last week or so. It is that old ^_^
Plus side, the later seasons get better, TCW starts weak, but gets better with time once it has established a lot of characters and circles through them.

I have been waiting for my eldest son to grow a little to enjoy it together, has been a lot of fun. Perhaps it will be a modified version of Heal/Harm like wards foresight is a modified Forsee/Farsee power

Keep in mind that rebels has a younger target audience and has less bloody body parts and ripped off heads flying around ^_^

So TCW might be a little too much, depending on age, while rebels would be already fine.

Rebels in Aus is behind a $100 a month paywall or you have to buy it for $60 for the first 2 seasons, Clone Wars is on Netflix. So it could be a little while before we watch Rebels. And yes I'm aware it's more mature, hence the wait.

If you're still going with Clone Wars I'd suggest you wait until you've finished that before starting Rebels. A lot of Seasons 2 & 3 of Rebels builds on things that happened in the Clone Wars.

Yeah that's my plan. so far he has seen the OT then TPM, Rogue One (his first SW cinema experience) and just the other day AotC. I thought I would go through the entire CW before watching RotS followed by Rebels. TFA can wait until the end of the year. It's a long road ahead of us!
