Best looking ship has to be the TIE Defender...until the Assault Gunboat comes along.
The GR-75 transport (Rebel Transport) is still the coolest in my opinion. I totally geeked out when I bought that thing! Raider too - I ran around the room making pew-pew noises for about half an hour when I first got it (I am an adult. If I were a kid, it would have been at least two hours!)
I think the best-looking is the T-70 X-Wing though - it's the closest thing in the game to Ralph McQuarrie concept art!
Decimator all the way. No other ship has come close to the 'shove itself down your throat' look that this baby has. Without a doubt (in my opinion) it is the most menacing looking ship in the game.
Only stands to reason that i paint rhe most menacing ship in the game as the Magic School Bus....oh well....

If not, then TIE Defender. 100%. Three-segment radial symmetry, blossoming into six-segment radial symmetry around a TIE cockpit with a little hexagonal inset in the engine mount. Like a snowflake you can kill things with.
K-Wing a solid Second with the U-Wing close behind.

Huh... I've just realised, where are the engines on the defender? Is the hex on the rear still a window like on the regular tie? If so thats a really spacious area for the pilot.
I can't believe that no one's mentioned the TIE Phantom. It's perfectly lean and oh so terribly mean.
I love the Punisher, it's so freaking huge and imposing, if only that were reflected in the game!

That window. Isn't a window on a regular TIE.
It isn't one here. The hex is the engine/thruster.
That's why the SF TIE with a window in the back had to put two thrusters on the sides.
Even the little ones have hexes in them too. Just in case doubt needed dispelling.
(Ion Engines are really flat dude. Like slim .)
T65 looks nice, and I love me some Interceptors, but I've gotta vote Lambda on this one.
