really not super pumped about Hotr, mostly since I wanted imp vets for T-70s and...it ain't

they tried, but you're still just looking at (ps 8) poe and maybe pava if you like her

m9-g8 Tarn, though...never has such a wealth of choices been so agonizing. No matter whom you lock, you get something out of it

I read/listen somewhere (maybe was here?) that Rogue One was a film made by people who grew loving StarWars.

And right now, according to what we have seen, i agree... It transpires awesomeness.

Wave 10... DAT TIE Striker... The wingspan of the Upsilon.

The only downside is the paintjob on Sabine's TIE. A little disappointing, i guess, but it's a complex paintjob.

I got games in last night! First time in a couple of weeks. Played my first regular 100 pts game in a couple of months! I've been doing so many missions and such that it's been a while. My ARC-170 died fast when Fenn Rau ended up in R1 after I was bumped. I think he can end up being a verb: "My ARC-170 was Fenn Rau'ed after I bumped into that Z-95."

I did get another CR-90 mission in. Man, I was winning it until the fuel station was blown. The worst part was I had to roll the dice. If my opponent had to roll, it would've been light. His luck is bad and we even had him roll just for giggles. It would've been 1 hit on 4 red dice. I rolled 3 hits and 1 crit. It destroyed a perfect V1 and 2 Tie Fighters!!!

i want my techs so bad.

Being able to 3sloop with Backdraft to show my ass in a direction i can keep showing my ass easily AND get an action that round will be awesome.

Or for that matter, 1hard to dodge that rock and not lose my action.

I am excited by the new T-70 pilots. I normally don't play Rebels, I find their play style a tad boring, but with the new Arc, the U-wing comming, Rey and the new ARC pilots, they all seems so fun and I can't wait to try them out.

and that Rogue One trailer, blew me away, It really looks like they have managed to update Star Wars while still keeping the spirit there. So good.

So how many HotRs are you guys getting? There are really only a few reasons to get multiples, not sure how many apply here:

- Pilots: Most are "dots" and nearly everyone has the TFA core so don't need it for the T-70s, not like you can reliably fly more than 2. And, really, there is only one good YT pilot

- Upgrades: several are available in other expansions. The new stuff that look appealing are Snap Snacks and Burnout SLAM. I think the 5 snap crack As might be a thing, but that means 3 HotRs, 3 Rebel Aces, and 4 (IIRC) A Wings. That's a big ask.

- Wildcard: The new low PS 1300. There is no way this is going to be in the "contracted scout" range, no more than 2 will be needed

Conclusion: I'll prob just get one. I can't see a bunch of cards I need that many of. Am I missing something big?

I'm super excited about HotR, but I still don't own an original Falcon. I need to buy one quick and paint it to match my other Rebels. I'll leave the new one as THE Falcon. I'll probably only buy one, but I am mostly excited about the new T70 pilots.

The RO trailer looks even better than TFA (mainly because they're not having to "reboot" the franchise and can tell a new story).

And it's the weekend! I'm ready for fuzzy slipper time!

Personally i dont really see a reason to get more than 1 hotr unless for some reason you need 3 of the given techs (i think the pattern analyzer is in the ups though) or you want more illicit SLAMs.

Everything in there thats good is either unique, comes in pairs, doesnt really have a multiple use application (smuggling compartment), or is being released in wave10 as well for cheaper lol. hotr is a 40USD expansion, the UPS will probably be 30-35 and everyone is gonna get it anyway and it has most of the cards that arent unique or illicit related hotr does.

And i was thinking of getting 2 because of triple T70s or SFs, but then i noticed the UPS has the tech too.

Zero. I still haven't flown my original Falcon yet. I just don't care for the big ships so much, especially the Primary Weapon Turret ships. It's just not my style of play.

Still, the ships in HotR are more jousters, which I like, but it's still not interesting enough to make me buy another Falcon. I'll probably just proxy stuff if I feel the need.

I know I'll only get 1 HotR. No matter what the cards are I just can't bring myself to buy more of a ship than I'll ever fly. And having 3+ Falcons just seems silly.

I'm looking forward to this expansion more than any other thus far.

I'll buy 1.

Even if I never planned to fly the new falcon (but I will) there are two big reasons to get HOTR other than to actually use any of it in play:

(1) I am a completist. I need at LEAST one of every single ship because the models are cool.
(2) It is the most famous space ship in sci-fi. "It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs."

what're you flying more than one of that needs em ?

SFs actually could really use them if i am suffering on points for pattern analyzer.

Another reason for me to be happy this Friday: just learned I have $180 store credit, so I can indulge in more X-Wing just as HotR is released.
