Considering how many of each upgrade the pack comes with, you're probably best-off buying 1-2x of each standard expansion and 1 copy of Vets.

He was a very interesting guy, one that I had a lot of long and informative discussions with, and I'd just like to know why one of my forum friends got banned.

He's been banned for around a year now AFAIK. I'm pretty sure it was either his comments on TFA, or laying on Joe too much, but something got him banned. Don't know what it was. This all came up a couple weeks ago when PGS was banned.

I'll miss him. His stance on playing to win and game balance was always extreme and I often didn't agree with it, but **** he had some cool ideas for squadrons. That Boba/Vader I definitly boost last squad? Pure gold.

I always figured half if not more of that was a character he was playing... But he either was doing it to troll people or just didn't care that it was really the effect his posts had on the community and in either case someone like that can be bad for a community.

I miss PGS around here.

OTOH, I play with him at my FLGS, and he's a pretty decent guy in person -- sadly his online persona is a little too trollish.

I chatted with Tipperary a bit on Vassal after the ban but didn't get much more out of him than that, I think some of the BKL (which I assume is Black Knight Leader) posts he took umbrage to got deleted as well. Doesn't make a lot of sense.

Found his blog, left a message detailing my condolences as to his banning, amongst other things.

I'd like your post 3X if I could, as it gave me all the answers I wanted and more besides. I guess a gif will have to do.

Probably half-half. His character was too much in the end, I suppose and his posts often had a negative impact on topics. I understand that FFG didn't want new players to be hit by that, but still, its a shame.

I can think of a number of posts by Black Knight Leader that I've taken umbrage with, so he has my support on that.

i never knew tipperary but i know someone who does deserve to be banned, hobojebus, he doesn't contribute to discussions he just complains about the prequels (i hate Jar jar, mediclorines and snobby anakin as much as anyone but there's more to the clone wars than just them)

That's not true. Hobo doesn't go out of his way to complain about the prequels in every thread. Yes if the prequels are the topic, that's going to happen, but that's his opinion, and he's on topic, so he is contributing. Yea he's sometimes way over the top, but he's in no way deserving of a banning.

its also ill advised to call out someone like that. Even if it is warranted.

There are several people i wish would get banned but theyre all annoying not rage-induced haters.
