My question on the hyperspace assault is the set up area. I says the entire 3 edge.
So is it within distance 3 of your 6 foot size. Or anywhere within distance 3.
Or I'm i ready it wrong and you set up on the short 3foot side vs the 6 foot long side

Yep, you are playing down the Table, the Long way, instead of Across the table...
Which means Imperials cannot take their Slugboats with them... If they want to get across, they need to be able to move in 6 Turns...
Yeah, the VSD would be a terrible ship for this mission.
Might be time to see how many turns it would take an ISD to make that distance - though I think one would be hard pressed to have 4 ISDs in a single fleet.
So many tough choices!
Oh, you may be right. So the Imps have no way to get Resource Points other than winning the whole battle?
Brutal!
1st player imperial gain 20 resource point per ship that get a victory token, squadrons dont count. So it encourages yhe imps to take four fast ships

Sounds almost like it should be a imperal assault were you force yhe tebels to break a blockade
Nah, in this case, its a Convoy assault, because the Imps are Moving...
So let me see if I got the green objectives.
Once per campaign turn if attacking a node that permits it (like the Corella system) you can use your faction special assault (green) in place of one of your red, yellow, or blue objectives. or is it you declare a special assault and have to use that objective?
However if you attack a base you use the base defense Objectives. Defender naturally chooses which one.

As I read it, if the attacker declares a Special Assault, the attacker's Special Assault card is used. The attacking team can only do that once per campaign turn. Which one is used depends on the faction of the attacker. (Rebel attackers use Hyperlane Raid; Imperial attackers use Show of Force.)
Regarding the Defense Objectives, I think you're right.
okay so special assault is a once per campaign round where you gain the initiative and the defender does not select the mission but is mostly used as a resource generator (and if not careful generate resources for your opponents as well).
Base defense are stronghold scenarios which are key to winning the campaign.
In the Corellian campaign, the attacker always has the Initiative.
If you have declared an attack, you are First Player.
If you have declared it as a special assault, then you use your respective Green Assault card.
IF you are attacking an enemy base, then the defender gets to choose which of those 3....
ALSO, there did seem to be a mechanic where green objectives can just happen as well, if you happen to be in the right area.

Think you got that wrong buddy.
The special assaults HAVE to happen in a specific area. "These Special Assaults can only be declared in certain locations, and both change the stakes of your battle. Instead of vying for campaign points, you're battling for a quick boost of resources" ![]()
Okay, I'll take that.
But I'll also remain with the fact that, you can not delcare a special assault and still be playing them because:

Pretty much.
I don't know what the restrictions are on when you can play the Special Assaults. As you also probably saw, it said "These Special Assaults can only be declared in certain locations." I imagine the Rebels' 'Hyperlane Raid' can only take place in systems/planets along the two major hyperlanes. Maybe 'Show of Force' can only be played against densely-populated worlds?
