Actually he is asking for the FAQ![]()
Commander tear this ship apart until you've found that FAQ, and bring me some spoilers--I want them alive!

It is actually from the Rogue One sequel.

Perhaps you're thinking of this?
main FAQ wishlist = points cap increased to 450.
Netrunner just got their update yesterday and they were also in the "oh my God when will this ever come?*" stage. Maybe we're not far behind.
*Seriously, though, that once-great game fell apart because FFG was way too hands-off with addressing nonsense cards that made the game worse. The problem has been widely agreed upon in the Netrunner community (at least around me) and it's taken months and months for FFG to do something and the response was moderate. For people wanting whole new rulesets for a flotilla "problem" the forum doesn't agree on that just "emerged" recently, I wouldn't get your hopes up for a huge change.
I find it interesting how "erratas" are seen in such a bad way (or how they are almost dreaded) in the boardgame community. Coming from a PC gaming background, patches are common and often provide big changes to the rules of any games. Cthulhu Wars (which is a boardgame with huge miniatures) with its second wave will provide several erratas for their factions as some were seen to be OP and others too weak. But, it's the only game where I've seen Erratas came as fast (maybe it has something to do with the fact that the designer was a PC game designer before)
Dota 2 changed a lot when 7.00 came and it was for the best. When a game stagnates, shaking things up is often positive. Just look at Diablo III for another good example.
So, in the end, I hope FFG has the balls to shake things up. I won't specify what I'd like to see (like I said, my only wish is to increase the cap point to 450), but I think a few changes, buffs, nerfs, here and there would be beneficial to the game.

The difference is the accessability.
Effectively, when it comes to Computer Games, you can set it so games cannot be matched up between those of different patch-states. So there at the very least, is direct incentive, if not requirement to update to even keep playing.
Its different in Board Games. I mean, even last week, I had 2 people pick up Armada and come to the Fleet Patrol Tournament that I was running. They did not even know an FAQ existed for Armada. I have some poeple who rely specifically on me to tell them when there's FAQ (and specifically errata) updates - if I don't tell them, they don't know where to look, or even to look.
Which means you very easily get people playing different versions of the game in their own little insular group - and not even knowing there's a change, until they attempt to link up with a larger group (such as for Store champs or regionals)...
So as a Board Game designer, you limit it. As much as possible. Because unlike a Computer game, you can't set it to patch first time its installed. Errata can take forever to make it into a Core Set redesign, even if you are able to do that in the first place.
So that's the basis of it. Its stupid-easy to change things in a Computer Game. So you do it, readily.
Its much more difficult in Board Games. So you limit it as much as possible. Some times, its unavoidable.

I havent played in ages, what happened?

(sorry everyone for the OT discussion here)
Loads of stuff:
First, they finally made the game more accessible to new players, by showing the spawn zones for camps (when you want to block it with a ward) and showing the detection radius of wards before you put them. Stacking is also less important as camps now spawn at every odd minutes instead of every minute. They also added "talent trees" similar to Heroes of the Storm. For example, a hero at lvl 10 can pick between getting 30 additionnal movement speed or 250 additionnal HP (just an example, each hero has its own talent tree). Lycan for example, can summon 4 wolves instead of 2 at lvl 20 if he wants to, or pick the other talent which I forget what it does.
They removed the option to add stats instead of picking a skill now.
Camps spawn at every odd minutes instead of every minutes, but there are more camps, so the offlaner has an easier time getting farm and XP.
Roshan is now north of the river instead of south.
There's 2 ancient camps instead of 1 per side.
Bounty runes spawn every 2 minutes in the jungles instead of the river, making life easier for support and jungle players.
And so on and so on...
Soooooo much better. Nice that support is actually recognised on the scoreboard now
The only thing I wish they would errata is to make the Vic2 worth the points. Like one more speed, more anti squadron, or just lower the cost. :/
Happy 6-Month Anniversary, FAQ!

Did you know, not only did they post things on Good Friday, they also did Facebook-y stuff on Easter Saturday?
The Monday after Easter isn't even a holiday as such, anymore.

Didn't they post stuff on April 1st on Saturday and Sunday
The worst part, besides the fact that it's taking this long, is that the last update is marked October 17th 2016.... so every time I open that stupid little tab to see if it's been updated, I see the 17 first and get excited... only to be let down... time and time again...

Don't waste your time you will see it in 3ish weeks at the earliest.

Oh? What makes you say that?

The vain, flailing belief that if an FAQ hasn't been put out by then, Worlds Happens, and someone will physically beat up the guy responsible?
They won't drop it before worlds at this point..... That would be irresponsible...... Not that they haven't been up to this point...... So the earliest we'll see it is the week after.
Granted, they did drop a Major, Errata, Meta-Shifting FAQ in X-Wing about a Week before a Major Competition... So, y'know, there's precedent there, even if its not in Armada...
Who knows?
I'm still going with the Schoolyard Beating route ![]()
I have no reason to believe this, but I think we see it before Worlds. I'm hoping it is this week.
