Scum - Hondo, Cad Bane, Jabba, Darth Maul.

Empire - Cienna Ree, Rae Sloane.

Yes, I should have maybe called him Maul rather than Darth Maul but he is very much neutral to both factions now. Apologies for any spoilers.

Maul being Scum in the Galactic Civil War era makes sense when you've seen the shows.

The Imperial officers who says the following:

"Hold your fire, there's no life forms on board"

"holding her is dangerous"

"Lord Vader, there are no signs of the plans main computer"

Or another great choice would be the Rebels who say the following:

"When we heard about Alderaan, we feared the worst"

"We've picked up a new group of signals"

Or maybe just Tarkin's aid who says, "we've analyzed their attack and there is a danger. Should I prepare your shuttle?"

Yeah I think that guy is the best choice. That way, every game, you could look over and say, " Evacuate, in our moment of triumph? I think you over estimate their chances!"

T-16 is totally missing from this game, a canon ship from ANH! And yes it can fly in space, it is capable of orbital operations.

(The Anchorhead crew needs some love too, Deak and Windy, Cammie and Fixer, all begging for Rebel/scum cards! And burned up Owen and Beru totally need a shout out.)

Gold Five and Tiree,

General Hux would be a good one. While I'd like to see Captain Phasma, she really wouldn't belong in X-Wing, more of an Imperial Assault character. But, Hux would be good as an Imperial crew for epic similar to Grand Moff Tarkin.

Old Luke - 7pts - "Once per round, when attacking or defending, you may reroll one of your die, even if it has already been rerolled."

Figured this would gel nicely with Rey and Finn on the Falcon. Also, other ships with two crew can take Luke and Finn for 12pts to increase their attack and defense rolls, plus you can reroll a Zuckussed reroll

Hondo - 1pt - "When dealt a faceup damage card, you may discard a cannon, missile, bomb, illicit, or modification upgrade card that cost 1pt or more, to immediately flip that damage card facedown without resolving its effect."

Basically, when you are in trouble, you pay Hondo in weapons and goods that he can sell on the black market in return for his help. If your gonna die form a crit, better to lose your HLC, Mangler, any unused bombs or missiles? I specifically left off torps, so an empty EM card cant be dumped, also dont need to make Jumpmasters more powerful.

I hadn't read anything about it, but looking at the spoiler pic, there is a Imperial Unique Crew card that starts "Gene-" so yeah, looks like it. Pic just shows a black gloved hand, so nothing there, but it looks like its him.
