Looking for Sabine Shadow Caster Inspiration

Been trying to come up with a decent Sabine Shadow Caster build, but can't seem to come up with anything.

Has anybody got one worth a try?

I don't think there's really that much you need to play with, if you're only considering Sabine alone.

Without an EPT, there really aren't too many crazy combos you can get up to. And she'll only ever have one action, so you want to make sure you're spending it wisely.

Maybe a Manaroo w/ Rec Spec back up, so Sabine can constantly take Evade actions, but I don't know if either ship will hit hard enough to be reasonable.

The title really isn't all that valuable with the low PS, so I'd probably leave it off to save points.

That has been my thinking, i think the lack of an EPT has really held her back, with what could have been a really good ability.

The problem with Sabine is that she is only 1 point less than Asajj, doesn't have an EPT and has an arguably worse pilot ability. Shadow casters generally don't hit hugely hard for their points cost but the reason Ketsu and Asajj are so good is that they bring additional control effects whereas Sabine's ability just makes a mediocre threat harder to kill. Added to that, you will normally have to invest extra points in her to make that pilot ability useful (either rec spec or glitterstim(s))

I still see some value in taking the title though as its not just the ability to reduce agility, its the threat of rolling someone onto a rock (especially if they haven't shot, but no ace is going to want to risk 2 red dice rolls for landing on, and then moving off a rock).

Maybe you could use her to run in front of a couple of protectorates to protect them until they get to range 1, something along the lines of:

With all the ships at PS5 she could fire first to try to reduce agility/move her target towards the protectorates or at least strip tokens. Running the protectorates behind her would give them 4 agility (or a stim off her to upgrade the autothrusters to stealth device for 5 greens). I'm not sure how well it would fare in practive though.
