Not sure how competitive this is but feedback is appreciated

Why not replacing Academy Pilot with upgrades for other ships?

I think its good, the ship builds (OL and Inq especially) are the tried and tested builds. I'm not sure there's 12 points worth of additional upgrades for those 3 ships that would be more benefit than having that Tie for blocking.

I'm not sure whether backdraft is strictly the best option for those 31 points, but going down that Palpatine rabbit hole will just bring us back out again at imperial A-holes so lets not go there...

That's my problem with the TIE/sf. It's really NOT worth the points, when you compare to what else you could bring -- [super] Soontir Fel is only 35 points! Darth Vader, who may be more or less useful with fewer TLTs on the board, is only 34 points (and that includes VI & Prockets, you could easily adjust to be Adaptability in the current meta, and drop prockets, if that's not your flavor). And a Palp Shuttle @ 29 points is absurdly good, though that's always going to be an issue...
