Arc Swarm

I've been seeing a lot of Arc love on here lately but I was curious as to what the community thinks of this. I'm going to Regionals in Wisconsin next month and trying to find a list to run for my first OP.

I flew this for the first time last night, and the synergy between Shara and Biggs with the R7 helped a lot. I flew against a Jumpmaster, shadowcaster, & YV-666 freighter.

My dice were rolling pretty hot last night, but with the help of the R7 I didn't lose a single ship, Biggs was closest with one hull and the droid still available to throw.

I have all the Rebel ships except epics to work with and a smattering of imperial, and fewer scum. Any suggestions on how to improve this for competitive play?

mmmm What synergy are you talking about? Shara's ability can be used by Biggs only when he attacks and the ability of the R7 droid only works when Biggs defends... so, ¿Where is the synergy?

The Synergy you're looking for will come into play when Heroes of the Resistance hoves into sight:

Shara, Weapons Engineer, M9-G8 - she can 'tag' two targets with target locks and restrict their ability to fire, but still allow your friends to use said target locks when they shoot back.

Gorgias called it on the synergy issue.

If you're still set on flying these pilots: Shara does well with VI; moving later helps her pick the right ships to lock. Since you're running her with R2-D2, then Draw Their Fire would keep Biggs alive longer. Otherwise I like Shara with Targeting Astro. R7 isn't going to save Biggs from getting PS killed, and without R4-D6 he's vulnerable against munitions, Protectorates and the growing list of other things that can consistently put down four or more hit results. Aftert Biggs goes down, your B-wing and Z-95 are sitting ducks. It's an easy call to leave Shara alone and go for a relatively simple points victory.

Targeting Astromech is another nice one. Targeting Astromech, Wired, and Hera Syndulla crew lets you actually use your K-turns, speed 4 straight and speed 3 turns, and provide some free locks to friends as she does so.

Not a great idea when trying to fly in support of a B-wing, though. It's not like that thing is exactly fast moving.

Please change the name of your list. You only have one ARC and 4 ships are not a swarm.
