Random thought to try and use Snap Shot: Rhymer is essentially functioning as a stressbot to try and pro-actively stress up the target the TIE swarm intends to ventilate with crack shot fire - it's intended to prevent aces using Boost or Barrel Roll to avoid the swarm's arc of fire.

Since he's more vulnerable, Rebel Captive is there to ward off PTL aces from singling him out.
