If I wanted to make my force user into a dark sider what is the best evil and destructive powers?
I am looking for more force use like palpatine (magic) not like vader (brawn)...
could I ever get lightning?? lol

In this game Harm (from heal/harm) is force lightning.
Bind with dark side is force choke.
Can't think of any more other than Move. It's not dark by nature but when you crush a crowd of innocents with a starship or building, it becomes very dark sided.

Actually, Harm is a life drain. Unleash is Force Lightning.
And more specifically it's the Mastery Upgrade of Unleash that's Force Lighting. Up until then it could be any number of nasty ways of hurting people (Fire, Acid, Thorny Vines, Blizard, etc).
It's the way you use powers that makes them good or bad.
Obviously it's good when you use them to break your bonds.
The Force will set you free.

I view the non-mastery version as a lesser version of the same thing, myself, but it's true that you can fluff it however you like. ![]()
I'm slightly biased on this but I personally think heal/harm is the best as a dark side user if you design them from the ground up. With ~2+ force rating its easier to get to than other offensive powers and fairly cheap to get the control/mastery upgrades. If you build a medic type character (solider: medic +recruit or force exile w/ force rating 2 and heal/harm) and build it up to get the powers its just amazing. 8+ un-soak-able damage to multiple targets or at longer ranges and you heal yourself for WT/ST at the same time. If you have any of the parry/reflect powers this lets you use them several times a turn without running out of strain as well. Its not quite as much damage as throwing 2 silhouette rocks/ships at people for 20 damage with move but that takes a bit more effort to do and takes ALOT of will/discipline to use. Also w/ medicine at high skill ranks you get a secondary thing you can do or a buff for party members if you take stim application w/ the solider.
