But Obi Wan is also 7 points, but hits harder and has more health. And has a nice control ability for locking down objectives.

Nope.
Her Command card is really nice and her reroll is great, but there's so many things to counter on her and the 8 hps doesn't last long even with recover when she's focused, or rolls a blank and your opponent rolls 8 damage on one roll (it has happened to me).

Not played Dialla in a while but she still has some merit. Her abilities to remove a dice and reroll her defence dice especially with white but obi wan is cool and does hit harder
Removing dice is a real tactic, and much easier to take out harder to kill figures (which I believe there will be more of and will start showing up more)
That being said, Obi wan is probably a better swiss army knife than Diala and definitely a less risky figure to use. Diala = high risk/high reward
Obiwan = steady beatstick with control option, both need support (as all force users do) and smarter play to be successful
I love Obi Wan. The control option alone has me start most rebel lists with him. It seems absurd to not have him in a force user list.

Um, you have the GenCon promo card and want to psych out your opponent with all of your "l33t bling"?!
That pretty much why I have been running her recently FSD. I will say that the hidden condition helps her get those surges that she needs more frequently. I've been using her with Murne and Camouflage/Force Illusion. Even with that she really requires some finesse to play or she gets shot down quickly.
Obi is the better figure as long as you can get him into range safely.
Obi-wan for sure in that list. Also, when the time comes, upgrade Luke to super-handless-jedi-killa-Luke and add channeling for R2. That's the list I'll play for sure :-)
I've played it with Obi and liked it better. Just wanted to hear what you guys thought.
This force user list has been for me the most consistently fun, as well as consistantly good. Davith is by far my favorite figure in Skirmish.
Davith is amazing! I love playing him.
do you have videos of this list? How do you keep Davith alive? I've only played him twice but he seems to go down really easy.

If I want both they either Leia or Davith have to leave the team and I can't do that. Leia is too useful and Davith is amazing. He's my favorite.
Diala and Luke are the weakest figures of that squad. Drop either of those.

Yeah, I tried that. My son clown-stomped me. Even a really cool l33t promo card isn't enough to make me want to play her.

you can't channel out SoS since it's a Luke card, not a force user card.
I like getting force surge or ones that grant movement. the 0 point ones. I'm not super attached to the Channel card though.
R2 pulls cards for me as well as gives me an extra activation. Though I often toy with replacing him with High Command.

I think Luke IS good, IF you can manage to get the most out of his rerolls. I usually can't and therefore don't like to play him.

With the new Alliance Rangers come out, I might be more apt to use old Luke than new Luke with them. The elite versions get to reroll two attack dice, but I feel they are a heavy price at 12. With the regular at 9, they get to reroll 1 die. Then you throw in a focus from Gideon/3PO and then add in Luke, that's 2 out of the 2/3 dice they're rolling with rerolls. Because with the Rangers they'll be more likely to sit in the back and pick off figures (like HKs) and Luke can sit in the back as well. He gets to roll 3-4 dice for attacks, so his range will be pretty hefty too.

I honestly want to run the Rangers with Fenn. Have the rangers get some shots off and let Fenn tear into anything that comes close!
How feasible is it to sit back though? Having played HKs a fair bit, I can never keep them far enough away it seems. They're not going to be doing as much damage, they'll die just as fast ( there is 1 more of them and the reinforce) but that also means they'll be harder to focus.

Command Cards are great for this. Adding movement pts, dmg (theyre hunters), dice, rerolls, etc they can keep going. Focus stuff and hide around corners.
