D-D-Deathfire

So one a local tourney over the weeken but the list could be better I think.

Deathfire- LRS, Prox Mines, EM, Ion PM's

Col. Vessery, - TIE/D, Ion Can, TIE MKII, Adaptability

Countess Ryad- PTL, TIE/ X-7, TIE MKII

Points 100

Adjustments to Deathfire load out below.

I like the idea of the Torp change. Allows debris to act like a mine. Also, clears paths for Ryad and Vess, when needing to Maneuver.

I'm looking at switching Vess to an X-7. He's usually the first target or Deathfire is. Amazing how worried people are about Prox mines. With the X-7 I could also drop the Engines on Vess and then switch to Stealth Device to try and improve survivability. That still opens up 4 points for a list that doesn't need a bid.

The one thing I have learned about Deathfire and flying him is he doesn't get a lot of shots unless someone is charging after him to Joust. So I wasn't getting missle shots off in games. I think in 5 Games I got 1 missle shot... Why I went seismic Torps don't need a lock or a target just an object to clear out.

I play him slow and don't worry about the bombs unless an opportunity presents itself. If Deathfire is left alone he just uses the LRS to paint the target lock for Vessery and keeps maneuvering for the missle shot.

Definitely switch the prox mines for conner net. You've got the point available, and don't really need a bid
