I might be painting my ISB Infiltrators soon, but I'm not sure what color to paint their armor. It looks like a blue/gray or gray/blue, maybe with a hint of metallic. Is there a color or mix of colors anyone has tried and particularly liked? FWIW, I mostly use Citadel paints because of availability, but the local Hobby Lobby has a small selection of Vallejo's Model Color line.

I just painted mine a rather dark purple. It's actually a little difficult to tell the difference between the purple armor and the black detailing, but I actually kind of like how it turned out.
subtrendy, do you think the method Sorastro used for the purple on his Royal Guard Champion would be a good fit?

I went with a blue with hint of green and then washed with black, did highlights before the wash and looks decent.
Then got another box and thought hmmm... and went for same method but red so have e-version without worrying about painting edges of bases
I just remembered that I picked up VMC Gunmetal Blue over the weekend.
- Basecoat with Gunmetal Blue
- Shade recesses with Drakenhof Nightshade
- Edge highlight with Runefang Steel (possibly a Runefang Steel/Gunmetal Blue mix)
What do you think of that plan? I really don't want to go with a monochrome white/gray/black scheme with them; between Stormtroopers, E-Web Engineers, Heavy Stormtroopers, Kayn Somos, Agent Blaise, and the upcoming Jet Troopers and Captain Terro, the Empire has enough white-on-black.
No offense meant, but I find the asymmetric pupils on your Blaise to be hilarious. With his strained, angry pose, it makes it look like he yelled so hard he blew a gasket.
