Some Imperial list I'm not so sure about

I'm trying to make some old-school Imperial list. You know with lots of star destroyers but so far this is the best I could come up with and I have a very strange feeling I'm missing something. Except of the obvious lack of bomber cover of course...

1 "Mauler" Mithel ( 15 points)

Well the victory is overupgraded and the Demo is underupgraded. Thats a good place to start.

And without Intel to free you up to move again Howlrunner will get you more than Mauler.

Ozzel... not unless you are a maneuver heavy list, and having a VSD and no Engine Techs says you are not. So spend a few more points for Motti, Tagge, or Screed. Just last night my APTs w/OEs were absolutely wishing for Screed as I got ZERO black crits on ALL of my Glad & VSD attacks. And I won't even go into how my bombers failed. It was an awful black night.

Sticking with your 3 chosen ships I would go with:

Imperial-class Star Destroyer II (166) - Motti (24) - Skilled First Officer (1) - Sensor Team (5) - ECM (7) - XI7 (6) - Relentless (3)
Victory-class Star Destroyer I (83) - Skilled First Officer (1) - OE (4) - APT (5)
Gladiator-class Star Destroyer I (75) - OE (4) - APT (5) - Demolisher (10)

Mauler (15)
Dengar (20)
Soontir (18)
Darth Vader (21) (or you could go 2 INTs instead)

These 4 fighters will kill or lock down many opposing squadron lists unless they are full points into squadron... and then you will need to try and kill their weaker ship points quick before your fighters die.

Yes, that list is much better... but the VSD really wants OE to get the most of those black when you FINALLY get into range for a shot with max speed 2. ACMs down to APTs, plus no FCT will get it. It's really a choice, no real wrong way there. same with Sensor Team v: Leading Shots... both work.
