timing clarification

By Darth Lupine, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

I am sure this has been posted, but I cant find it anywhere.

Lets say an ISD II fires its front arc. It then spends a blue dice, via leading shots, to reroll two red dice. Lets say one of those dice comes up accuracy.

Can the Destroyer then spend said rerolled accuracy to cancel a defense token?

Yes.

It's all part of the modify dice step.

That's what I thought, thanks Knight.

As Green Knight said, while it's an effect during the Modify Dice step that makes you reroll then you'll be able to use those accuracys.

For the contrary, if it's an effect during the Spend defense spet for example as it would be an Evade defense token or Targeting Scramblers, then it will be too late to spend those accuracys and you lose them (unless your ship has SW-7, in which case you at least can make them into damage)

then it will be too late to spend those accuracys and you lose them (unless your ship has SW-7, in which case you at least can make them into damage)

If they're Blue.

Red ones are still SOL.

Good point, I forgot to specify that
