Rule Differences between RT and DH

By vogue69, in Rogue Trader Rules Questions

Some small things are different then in DH, I am trying to collect them:

1. Righteous Fury makes double damage, not just an additional D10. Which makes any multi-dice weapons absolutly ridiculous.

2. overwatch can be made with any fire-arm

3. running away: not only a free hit is granted, but also a free shoot.

4. WS boni for weapon quality only applies to attacks, not parrying

5. during autofire, one can walk forward.

any more?

1. Righteous fury is a bit silly, but remember that enemies can get it too. Also RT-level opponents are a lot tougher, RF is the only way to damage some of them with lesser weapons.

2. Only weapons that can semi or full-auto. You specify one of those or supressive fire (Which requires a full-auto weapon) with the area and condition.

3. You get one standard attack, which may be used to shoot (Though at -20 if other people are in the melee). Remember that drawing a weapon is an action, so you can only attack with what you have ready.

4. True, but some weapons have their own built-in parry bonus. The parry penalty for a poor weapon still applies though.

5. Only with a pistol or basic weapon, no BS bonus on semi auto, and -10Bs on full auto

And one more:

Psychic powers are manifested with a d% check, modified according to psy rating and the amount of psy-rating the character wishes to use.

RF in DH can only be done by PC and major NPC (RAW), there is no such mention in RT.

Acquired skills twice in character generation got the skill at +10 in RT.

I got this answer from R. Watson :

Hi There!

The rules for Rogue Trader and Dark Heresy are compatible, meaning
that if you want to use the Rogue Trader rules in your Dark Heresy
game, that is fine.
