A'Sharad Hett

By Rikalonius, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

I was going through my Star Wars miniatures and I realized, though it is highly unlikely he'll ever reach canon status, that A'Sharad Hett would be a good candidate for a Mercenary force user.

That would be cool. I'd like to see something like a "Star Wars Legends" wave where each faction gets a figure, kind of like the recent "Characters Who Should Actually Be Dead By Now" wave.

Hett would be good for the Mercs, since he worked as a bounty hunter and Mercs don't really have a force user yet.

For the Empire, I wouldn't mind seeing Xizor or Galen Marek- both iconic, but both strictly relegated to Legends.

Maybe an interesting Rebel character could be the Dathomiri witch Tenniel Djo- she could be very different than anything we've seen so far!

It'd be cool if the Mercs got a force user. Hett would be fun to pair with the Tuskens.

Though looking realistically, I think the most likely option for a Merc force user at this point would be Maul.

If they branch into more Rebels content then Maul is likely to show up at some point.

Hard to place him in Merc, but seeing as there are only really three factions at the moment I suppose it would be the best fit

Mercs typically seem to be just kind of a "Grab Bag" faction sometimes, and thematically I see them as more of a flexible third wheel than a united faction. It's a little interesting to think that Tusken Raiders, Wampas, and Wing Guards are all technically in the same faction, after all.

Maul makes sense as a merc to me, but I think you run into an issue at some point with him being on the Empire side during campaigns. Though, if it's true that Jabba's Realm might mix up how mercs work a little bit, that might change.

hmm, I would have thought Xizor would be a Merc as well, wasn't he the Black Sun Gangleader?

I could be mistaken

Dathomir witches, wouldn't fit rebels, I thought they would be Mercs as well. The jedi Reborn would be great generic force users for the Empire, but I don't think they're in the canon anymore.

I would love to see Jan and Kyle Katarn cause that was a great series of games and they'd fit right in as Rebel Smugglers.

He was. He was also closely tied to Palpatine. That's a good point, and I think I could really see it going either way.
