The goal of the list is to be very mobile and be able to act on the spot. Cracken makes all ships hard to kill, with Jaina's light being even more annoying. Konstantine is probably difficult to deal with here, but I think the list has a good mix of staying power and firepower. Squadrons are lacking for sure, but with only the transports holding a squadron value higher than 1, they weren't the main focus anyway.

anyway... please rate and comment and give advice. Thanks!

The ship setup looks good - this is a list whose performance will come down entirely to how you fly it. :)

I wouldn't take your squadron setup - the Y-wings will get locked down by enemy fighters quickly, while being unable to stop enemy bombers. Plus they're too slow for this list. If you really, really want Nym I'd switch to A-wings to support him. But really I think your best bet is to switch Nym and the Y-wings out for a pair of YT-2400's. They're fast and you don't need to use any squadron commands. Leaves you more points for a bid too.

Missionwise I'd drop Fire Lanes - your fleet doesn't want to sit in an area and move slowly - it lives and dies by speed. Perhaps Hyperspace Assault would be better. Superior Positions is risky too - those MC30's have a BIG rear arc, and it's pretty easy to score tokens off of them. Any of the other blues would be better suited.

Aye, get rid of the Y's.

You want all non-heavy squadrons. Awings, YT2400's mainly.

I'd put Cracken on a CR90 or flotilla, something that isn't going to be thrown into the middle of the melee

I'd also drop all those squads for 6 awings. With only ~65 points of squads, they aren't going to get to attack ships unless your opponent is running next to none themselves, and even then awings are still decent

aright, excellent advice from you all. I only have 4 A-Wings and 1 YT-2400 so I can't take all the recommandations you guys make, but a lot of good points and I'll definitely switch them around to create a list that makes more sense.

And good point about moving Cracken. The Corvette is probably the most difficult to kill if I can stick him on obstacles.

I agree with objectives, I wasn't sure with the choices I made and you guys convinced me of going hyperspace assault (I skipped because I often pick that one)

so I take it the Dash Rendar upgrade isn't really worth it for this list?

Dash isn't terrible in this fleet, but he excels when he's attacking ships and he's going to have a hard time doing that without Intel and supporting squads to peel for him. I'd personally rather take a generic YT and the 8 points in this case

aright, thx! I modified the fleet for 4 A-Wings and a YT-2400 for a 9 points bid.

Also, you have Lando in a fleet called "Crackers".

sorry for necroing this thread, but I just realized something:

Cracken + jaina's light don't stack, right? I thought at first they would, but I looked for old threads about this and saw that double obstructions don't exist. So, I thought I could remove 2 dice on 1 attack on jaina's light, but apparently that doesn't work.... is it still worth it to take the title?

That's correct, they do not stack. Obstruction does not stack; it is a binary state of being determined for any given hull zone each time it makes (or receives) an attack. Thus, an attack is either obstructed or it is not.

That being said, they have nothing to do with each other. Cracken means you are treated as obstructed when you are defending.

Jaina's Light means she cannot be obstructed when she is attacking. You essentially get the best of both worlds when you use these 2 together.

There is still every good reason to take Jaina's Light in a Cracken fleet. Nothing about your commander negates that title.

Also...echoing what others have said about your fighters. You've got lots of good anti-ship hitting power here: 2 MC30's, Salvation, and TRC90 all hit above their weight class. Really all you need squadrons for is deployment delays and some anti-bomber screening.

aye. I switched from the first list to 4 A-Wings + 1 YT-2400, but really next time I'll get a 3rd squadron pack and have 4 A-Wings + 1 Tycho
