Actually, with its 3 red side dice and large side arcs it is more of a mini-me Goldfish. It can also put on XI7 and ECM.

The lack of brace is what's making it not too OP or game breaking.
I for one am not very hyped about it:
- defensive retro on a small ship: CR 90 has it too, but it's not like people fill that slot.
- best battery is 3 reds, not impressed.
- of course will cost more than a cr 90 because of +1 hull, +1 defense token and the black dices, but the real strenght of the CR 90 lies in its cost.
IMO it will essentially be a more expensive corvette for a faction that has fewer long range sinergies.
That, or FFG will have thought of something really unexpected. Let's hope so.
Assuming it is a similar cost to the GSD I could see its use with Needa and TRCs. Say 65 points all in compared to 51 for a TRC90. Not bad considering the extra red flank dice equivalent to an Ackbar assisted TRC90 with the added bonus that you don't have to only fire out the flanks.
The other unknown is the unique ship titles and these can make a big difference to certain synergy builds.

I am looking forward to using 2-3 of them, demolisher and rogue fighters or gozanti & fighters. A nice imperial swarm list. Aquittens to peel shields, demolisher for killing blow.

Shouldn't it be ImpLC if its Imperial Light Cruiser?
Its somewhat Traditional in some Military nomenclature to mention Class, before Modifiers, as part of a Designation Code.
