I'll get in a small tournament tomorrow. A local store had been ramping up to serve X-Wingers and this will be the first 100-point tourny. I'll very likely buy an ARC, too.

Sunday a group of us will be at Morton Arboretum for a nature hike with Zombies.

my friday is not so great so far.

i think my apartment got too cold in the night because im hacking up a lung today.

Happy Friday! It's my birthday today, as well. I'm not 46. I'm not officially old until 50. I heard 40 is the old age of youth, but 50 is the youth of old age!

I didn't get to game last night. I was with my parents near Savannah, Georgia and helping them since my father had heart surgery. Well, the hurricane is coming and we were forced to evacuate. My Dad is in a bunker of a hospital and safe. I took my handicap mother through the crazy evacuation traffic back home to Charlotte, NC. We are in a hotel as my house isn't handicap accessible. We are in a semi crummy hotel. I'm working remote and helping my mother since there is no nurse here. I'm happy that I get to see my wife and kids tonight.

My good news doesn't compare in the slightest, but I passed my master's defense last week and presented a poster at a conference over the weekend. Monday was the first day I got to try out Wave 9 and I got to put some ARC-170s on the table. It ended up being a rear arc slugfest with two Firesprays. Absolute blast.

Well there's a Hurricane out there, so if it does come in and work closes I can finish my death star trench only using a flashlight right?
